Abbey asked:
Mary Jo – I read your article in MOMSense – congratulations!! How long did it take for you to hear from MOPS about that article? I submitted an article for MOPS online a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t heard anything. I’m going to follow-up next week, but I was just curious!
Abbey: For MOMSense, their guidelines say they reply in 10-12 weeks. The first submission I sent via email, I rec’vd a confirmation reply that week. Then a nice rejection about 8 weeks later.
The second submission (which was specifically written to their theme), I rec’vd an acceptance email & a contract about 10 weeks later. You may want to check the date you sent it out.
Good luck!

Hi
My debut novel, Quantum Earth has just been released and I was wondering if I could talk about it on your blog. It’s about a team of metaphysical scientists dedicated to finding the truth behind all these natural disasters that are killing untold numbers of people. The team is asking the question: do we create our own reality and, if so, is there anything we can do to keep from being wiped off the face of the planet? They do this with the help of a trance chaneler and some help from beings called the Starborn Ones. There’s a lot more to it, but this is a little taste.
Sincerely,
Julie Achterhoff
